           Feeding Dogs

Dogs that are kept on a healthy holistic diet can live
to be 15+ years.  You may even consider a raw diet,
but beware, raw doesn’t mean a handful of
hamburger meat every day.  It takes planning and
education to design a nutritious raw diet.  Luckily,
there are many good resources on the subject.

My dogs are fed only premium dog foods.
  I use a
dehydrated mix from The Honest Kitchen in
California.  I add Norwegian Kelp from Kelp Products
of Florida (which has made a very noticeable
difference in my dogs' coats and overall appearance).

I use the mix from The Honest Kitchen and add kelp
and then pour it over their kibble in the morning.  I
occasionally add other raw or partially cooked foods,
such as, venison, free range chicken or beef, etc.
Always use a premium kibble if you are using a
kibble. Remember, you get what you pay for. Also,
kibble is not necessary if you feed raw, just be sure
you are meeting your dog's nutritional requirements.
